Our first Ladies Evening (Pamper, Pizza and Prosecco) which included a licensed bar was held on Friday, 13th July at our community hall.
The evening was attended by 35 ladies, who consumed lots of pizzas, prosecco and various other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
2 speakers attended, Simon Halloway – Recreation Manager, Redworth Hall who very kindly supplied us with personalised discount vouchers towards membership and treatments.
Sam Lavery – Yoga Teacher shared breathing techniques with us, which included audience participation.
Laura from Flamingo Cards and Maxine from Junk Drawer Crafts had stalls displaying an array of goods and we also had a chocolate tombola stall.
Raffle prizes were donated by Hallgarth Hall Hotel, chocolate from Kacao Chocolaterie, Bodyshop – Kirsty Cain, Marks and Spencer Jewelry , signed First Edition – Nigella Lawson cookery book, and various other items donated.
Games and prizes awarded throughout the evening. A pamper bag was handed out at the end of the evening which contained coupons for various discounts, smellies and of course a chocolate truffle!
This event raised £300 towards the essential upkeep of our hall.
A massive thank you to all those that attended, purchased raffle tickets, donated prizes and helped with setting up the hall.
