Children from the North East Autism Society’s Short Breaks, After-school club and trampolining, based in Newton Aycliffe, held their annual Christmas Party on the 22nd December at Woodham Community Centre.

The young people and their families enjoyed dancing to disco music, having their face painted and tucking into the buffet food.

As well as the disco, Woody and Buzz from Toy Story came along to join in with the party goers!

There was also a surprise visit from Santa who brought presents for the young people. Everyone in attendance fully enjoyed their day, with the party deemed a massive success.

North East Autism Society would like to give special thanks to David Wilkinson at Black Knight Disco for the music that got everyone up dancing. DFY Party Supplies for arranging for Woody and Buzz to attend. David Sutton-Lloyd for access to the community centre. Phillip Clark for donning the red suit.

Finally, a massive thank you must go to Honest John who donated a fantastic sum to enable the young people and their families to have a brilliant day together.
