Aycliffe Village Primary School send a huge ‘Thank you’ to Honest John, local hero fundraiser who has donated £1,000 to the School for use in the Early Years’ Outdoor Teaching Area. This equipment will further enhance the teaching and learning within the Reception Class which was complimented in our recent inspection. The play equipment will enable the pupils to develop their gross motor skills and their co-ordination skills as they use the equipment.
It is a valuable addition to the school grounds. We are very grateful for Honest John’s contribution and also to the PTA, which works very hard to support the school, through its own fundraising efforts. The additional funding is always welcome and enhances the education of the pupils.
