Dear Sir, The residents of Armstrong Close and St. Oswald Court have received letters from the County Council Planning Department notifying them that Livin have applied for permission to demolish 14 garages and build five 3-bedroom houses on the adjacent Green. The residents feel that Livin have not considered the impact of this application where a large increase in traffic will be created and more pressure on car parking in an area where problems already exist. People who use the garages will need to park their cars on an already congested area making it impossible for large vehicles like Bin Wagons, Fire Engines and Emergency vehicles to enter. Have Livin considered where the children, who live nearby, will play when the Green has gone and used for housing? J. Thompson, Armstrong Close
