Cornish’s biographers Bob McManners and Gillian Wales will speak about his life in Spennymoor and the development of his work as an artist, during and after his career as a miner.
The lecture will take place at Spennymoor Town Hall on Sunday 14th September 2014 at 4pm, and repeated on the same date at 7pm.
Tickets for the lecture are free and will be available from Spennymoor Town Council Offices, as well limited numbers available at Greenfield Arts, Newton Aycliffe and Northumbria University Gallery, Newcastle. Please contact Spennymoor Town Council on 01388 815276 or email enquiries@spennymoortowncouncil.gov.uk to reserve a ticket.  Please note that admission to the lectures is by ticket only as numbers are restricted.
