Brafferton Village Fete was a great success despite the rain which was unfortunate during this otherwise lovely summer. The snail race was the only outdoor event to be held. The Hog Roast was enjoyed by over 70 people and there were numerous stalls including savouries, cakes, garden plants, body shop, tombola and raffles.
The display of World War 1 memorabilia interested a lot of people as did the competitions particularly the single flower bloom. There was an overall profit on the day so thanks to everyone for their support.
