ICE Bridge Challenge For Sugar Hill Pupils

Class 13 pupils from Sugar Hill Primary participated in an ICE Bridge Challenge at UTC on Wednesday 5th May, where they had to work collaboratively to build a structure that was strong enough for them to walk across. The event gave the children a hands-on insight into the civil engineering industry and the workings of the outside world.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed constructing the bridge and working with the staff and pupils at UTC. Class 14 completed their visit on 12th May 2021. Many thanks to staff and pupils at UTC for organising this event for all our Year 6 pupils.
