Paul wanted to pass on this photo taken last Thursday at the 100th Birthday of Francis. Frankie Beckwith which was taken with the Mayor of Newton Aycliffe, Carl Robinson, at Aycliffe Care Home. Paul was welcomed by Sarah Ross from the home and was exceptionally impressed by the staff. Francis received a card from the King and Queen and received a performance of the bagpipes. Francis’ cake was decorated with World War 2 Aircraft in recognition of his own service in the RAF during the War.
