Harrison who is three years old has an undiagnosed genetic condition causing many symptoms with no explanation of their source.
His parents first noticed his problems at 7 months old when he did not reach expected development. Since then he has received several tests and procedures, coming back normal apart from his eyesight and ecg results.
His Mum Hayley sends a massive thank you to Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership and Val Fawcett for the donation towards Harrison’s Therapy Pool. “The pool will benefit his strength and we are extremely grateful”
Harrison’s symptoms include weak and floppy muscles, Hypertension, Optic nerve Atrophy and Cortial visual impairment. None of these symptoms can be fixed or made better by wearing glasses. He also has severe developmental delay meaning he is functioning at the level of a 4 month old baby and non-verbal. Harrison has sensory processing disorder and is being treated for Autism.
All of this aside Harrison is the most loving and happiest little boy and melts people’s hearts with his lovely smiles and giggles.
