Come and join us on Saturday 12th August for a fantastic fundraising day in Tesco, Newton Aycliffe. We will have plenty happening including raffles, face painting, nail painting, sponsored leg waxing, tombola’s and much more. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates.
Tesco have chosen an amazing charity ‘Missed A Beat’, which is very close to us all, especially after losing a wonderful colleague so suddenly.
The organisation’s core purpose is to make accessing and raising awareness of lifesaving equipment in the form of defibrillators more accessible and quicker in emergency situations. The organisation works with a wide range of local partners, including the local authorities, sports clubs, schools, community venues, businesses and community spaces, to purchase, supply, and install static defibrillators, along with providing portable defibrillators as required.
The organisation is working in partnership with a local councillor to ensure that a static defibrillator is accessible within 500 metres of a person throughout Newton Aycliffe. This is to ensure that access to such vital equipment is readily and easily accessed in emergencies in public places, which in turn reduces the time it takes to access such equipment, with the aim of helping to save a life.
Please support us in raising as much awareness and money as we can for this fantastic charity.
