Little ACORNS the junior section of the ACORN Residents Association group will again be holding their annual Petting zoo at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre on April 8th from 10am.
Little ACORNS will be inviting other groups and businesses to promote their goods and services to members of the public in the large sports hall.
All manner of creatures will be available for visitors to view and get to know from bugs to dogs.
ACORN mascots Spotty dog and Syd the Squirrel will be entertaining young children with their frolics and antics.
Also in attendance will be Newton Aycliffe Police Neighbourhood beat team looking forward to meeting with the public young and old.
Previous Petting Zoo events have been visited by 500 plus members of the public and over the years become an eagerly anticipated event with children, parents and grandparents entertained for a few hours during the Easter Holidays.
