Following our successful First World War exhibitions last September and the publication of our book “The Great War: Great Aycliffe, Brafferton and Coatham Mundeville Remember” (copies still available at £5) we are now beginning to research the fallen in World War 2.
We are specifically interested in those named on the War Memorial at St. Andrew’s Church, Aycliffe Village, the one Commonwealth War Grave in the Churchyard and four other names provided by the Commonwealth War Grave Commission with a link to Newton Aycliffe.
