Sophie Swords-Lee aged 7 from Aycliffe, had her hair cut on Saturday. She wanted her long hair cutting, but didn’t want it to go to waste so we decided to send it away to the Little Princess Trust. They use hair to make wigs for children who lose their hair fighting cancer.
The family are trying to raise £350 in the next 30 days as this is how much the wig costs a family to buy. We are taking donations on www.virginmoneygiving.com/sophiehair. We would also like to encourage others who may be cutting their little girls hair to do the same.
