Wednesday 28th November saw Year 11 students from Woodham Academy undertaking a mock interview in preparation for the next stage of their academic careers. The school welcomed interviewers from a variety of different careers into school to conduct the interviews. Students were marked accordingly to a range of criteria, including further impressions, body language and quality of CV and communication skills.

‘The experience has helped me prepare for my college interview’ said Courtney Lister, a student at the school ‘I feel much more confident about myself and my ability to interview well’.

The event forms part of the extensive careers programme run at Woodham Academy which aims to equip all students with the skills necessary to succeed in their working life. Interviews for Sixth Form and Further Education places will take place in the Spring term.
