Year 9 and 10 students at Woodham Academy recently took part in a workshop to develop their knowledge of robotics in today’s world of work. The day consisted of building the robots and then using a computer to programme the robots to move and even make sounds. The workshop concluded with students testing their robots on a circuit. The workshop was delivered by ‘Go Ahead Training’ funded by GAMP. This half term, Y10 Engineering students are also visiting a number of companies in the area in to develop and extend their knowledge of the engineering sector.
