From 2nd of January 2013 the new bus service by Central Coaches will be running 5 buses a day Monday – Friday’s. The route for No.116 will cover Heighington, School Aycliffe, Newton Aycliffe Railway Station area, Alston Crescent, PCP, Cobblers Hall, Greenwell Road, Pease Way, Oakfield, Dandy Cart, Churchill House, Greenwell Road, PCP, Cobblers Hall, Alston Crescent, Newton Aycliffe Railway Station (On Request) School Aycliffe, and Heighington.
The Scarlet Band service 16/16A will be withdrawn on 31st December 2012.
The new 116 timetable should be available soon from Newton Aycliffe Library. It is available online via the County Durham Interactive Bus Map, website. At the moment when you get the map page the 2nd line top left say’s “View timetables for forthcoming changes.” Click on here to confirm end of 16/16A and click on 116 to get new timetable!
The new Train Timetable starts from 9th December 2012 for Newton Aycliffe. It is available online and usually from Libraries, Darlington & possibly Newton Aycliffe. Also at Darlington Train Station!
