Matt Walls is one of the new PCSO’s recently stationed in Aycliffe where he will be liaising and monitoring with the Woodham Ward and West Ward.

Mat comes from Newton Aycliffe and was educated at Vane Road and Woodham before going to University. He joined the Police recently and lives in Darlington.

He will be attending the Woodham Ward’s Police and Community Together meeting in the Community Centre, St Elizabeth’s Close. This meeting will be held on Thursday the 12th of December commencing at 10:30am. He will be joined by representative from the street warden’s team and a couple of local councillors John CLARE and Paul SYMONS.

We will be discussing current issues in the Woodham Ward area and identify any possible community based remedies that can be put in place to tackle any problems. All are welcome and after this meeting the next date will be decided along with the following month’s targets.

The West Ward PACT meeting will be taking place in Burnhill Way Methodist Church, 1 Merlin Court, on Thursday the 21st December at 5 pm and will encompass current issues in the area and promoting home and personal security during the festive season.

Mat will attending this meeting with a street wardens and a couple of local councillors, including Ken ROBSON. Again all are welcome to this meeting and the next PACT meeting and targets fixed.
