Many local firms have been involved with the Eleven Arches project at Bishop Auckland entitled “Kynren” and Newton Press are proud to be one off them. Newton Press were asked to print the flags and tabards for the Roman soldiers (pictured above) ready for the seamstresses to pull it all together. We also provided other items of print onto a cloth base.
The summer spectacular will take place over 11 weekends from 2nd July to 17th September. The outdoor extravaganza tells a tale of a young boy travelling through the ages in Bishop Auckland from the early days of the Romans, Vikings and up to World War 2. Hundreds of locals have volunteered to play the many roles through the centuries.
