Local firm, John Meynell Funeral Service, at Stephenson Way Cemetery are holding an open day for people interested in learning about the benefits of the Dignity Funeral Plan. The Open Day is on Tuesday 1st September between 10am and 2pm and their friendly and approachable staff will be available to answer any questions that people may have. Light refreshments will also be available.
‘’One in five of the funerals we conduct have already been pre-arranged and paid for,” explained Amanda Conway Funeral Manager. ‘’People often purchase a funeral plan to make sure their loved ones don’t have to make difficult decisions about their funeral arrangements. Other people purchase a Dignity Funeral Plan from us so that they can make provisions towards their funeral costs at today’s prices. This means that, in these times of financial uncertainty, their loved ones are saved from paying for the majority of the funeral.”
Funeral plans were first introduced in the UK in 1985 and to date, over 1.1 million people have purchased a funeral plan from a registered FPA provider.
Amanda Conway continued: “We are inviting people who are interested in finding out more about funeral plans to come to John Meynell where my colleagues and I will be available to answer any questions you may have.”
People attending the funeral plan open day will receive a discount voucher entitling them to £100 off the Dignity Funeral Plan, making it even more affordable to plan for the future.
John Meynell Funeral Service have been arranging and conducting funerals since 1910. They provide a 24 hour service and part of Dignity, a British company that has funeral directors in towns and cities all across the UK. For further information please contact Amanda Conway 01325 301405
