Dear Sir,
I have decided to do a skydive on the 8th July which I have paid for out of my own pocket. I then decided to try and make some good come out of my crazy idea and asked anyone that would like to sponsor me to do so and all donations would be passed on to a young girl called Isla Caton.
Isla is a five year old with a rare form of neuroblastoma, she is relying on receiving treatment which is not available in the UK, and her family had to temporarily relocate to Spain for her to receive this life saving treatment. She then will need further treatment in the USA once her current treatment is finished. I decided I would like to raise money to help get Isla the treatment she needs.
Since moving to Spain, Isla has become cancer free twice, but relapsed both times so it is important she gets this treatment. Isla currently has her own just giving page, she has also been featured on the BBC news and has overwhelming support from the West Ham FC and Bradley Lowery Foundation.
When I decided I’d like to raise money for Isla, I decided to ask one of our local businesses if they’d like to get involved.
Shake n Cake took up the challenge and have been an amazing support in raising money for Isla, including changing their app and website to allow people to donate to my cause when they order food, continuously advertising on my behalf and have even paid for me to have a personalised T-shirt printed through Newton Press (design courtesy of SJ).
I am asking for donations through PayPal, which I am publicly sharing on an update each week so people can see that their donations will be allocated to Isla’s funding directly, there is also the option to donate to her just giving page if they wish.
We have already raised £175 via PayPal, and £28 through Shake n Cake, which have pledged to match all donations made. I am welcoming donations up to and including, the day of my jump. All payments will be featured and publicly processed for ease of mind.
