I would like to thank Charlotte Altringham, Samantha Ashcroft, Conner Bennet, Lydia Hayman, Alfie Knight, Katie Oliver, Lucy Ryans and Joe White who performed on 10th of October at the Navy Club, local Labour branch fund raising social evening.
Our local talented young performers were absolutely fantastic, they gave up their time to entertain us and they delivered – note and tone perfect! Big thanks to John Melvin and his sound engineer without whose dedication, time, guidance, tuition and support none of this would have been possible. Thanks to the Navy Club for providing the venue, also the management and staff whose hospitality is very warming.
Special thanks to everyone who baked, cooked, provided and helped with the buffet savoury, desserts and nibbles. We all had full tummies for sure – bless you all.
The Raffle was superb with loads of contributions, the great variety of prizes are a tribute to all concerned. The first prize was a bottle of whiskey donated by Phil Wilson MP.
Big thanks to everyone who came along and for taking part in this fund raising Social Evening. I was honestly blown away with the support from the local community. The total money raised was £435.
