The wait is over. The decision has been made following the move from Humankind (DISC) offices to the Big Club. GACAP have completed their rebranding and have launched their new name and logo. The new name of the partnership is Aycliffe Community Engagement. ACE.

The new logo comes from an idea of the grandson of the Treasurer of ACE formerly GACAP, 8-year-old Daniel Brittle. Overhearing the Chairman Ron Mitchie and Treasurer Joan Mitchie discuss ideas for the new logo he suggested that as the partnership now met at the Big Club that a single ACE of Clubs would be a clever idea.

We are running a charity fundraising event at the Big Club on Friday 9th November with Nev Jones Groovy Street band and guitarist singer David Brittle from Darlington.

The man organising this event is Geoff Batchelor, our Vice Chairman so watch this space for getting your tickets. We have also committed to donating £150 from this event to the Tricycle for Katelyn.

There will be some definite changes over the next few months in the new office and the original aims of GACAP in helping those in our community who need support through challenging times.
