Ebony Young and Bethany MacDougall from Newton Aycliffe and Ella Rodgerson from Chester-le-Street are an enthusiastic acrobatic team who have recently been selected as GB1.
Bethany MacDougall is 18 and attends Durham Sixth Form and is a former Woodham Academy student; Ebony Young, 17, attends New College Durham and is a former Greenfield Student; Ella Rodgerson is 14 and attends The Hermitage.
The status means that they will travel to compete in the European championships on 20th September to represent their country.
The three train at Deerness Gymnastics Club in Ushaw Moor, Durham for up to 20 hours every week.
