On Saturday 16th June 1st Aycliffe Baden-Powell Beaver Colony attended an Area Beaver Day at Hardwick Park. Although we did have a couple of showers this did not stop the children having fun. With the help of Durham County Council Rangers they enjoyed a Beasty Hunt, Pond Dipping, Making a Den and also being shown how to make a camp fire.
The day was topped off for one of our Beavers, Adam who was awarded the highest award a Beaver can get his “Dam Builder” which was watched by his family.
