Dear Sir,
After taking ill abroad I was flown to James Cook Hospital where I had a Hickman Line fitted for administration of antibiotics.
I was informed that few District Nurses could perform treatment, but thanks to the District Nurses (Angels) in Aycliffe who are trained in this procedure I was able to come home instead of staying in hospital for weeks.
Thank you very much to Hester, Angie, Sharon, Nicki, Dorothy and Scott – I would be lost without you!
