Optimum Skills Open Evening

We are a training provider in Newton Aycliffe and are teaming up with local artisan butcher Emlyn Hugill from ‘Cleaver and Quill’ to deliver a butchery masterclass, sharing his inspirational story on how he started and developed his skills in butchery through an apprenticeship which took him from Aycliffe to London, Melbourne and back.
If you’re 16-19 years old and not too sure what you want to do but would like to know your options, this event is a fantastic way to get an idea on what Optimum Skills Ltd has to offer from our traineeship programme to apprenticeship vacancies (some of which are on the Aycliffe Business Park).
Equally if you are a parent or guardian and would like to know what is on offer in the local area, it’s a chance to chat to our tutors to discuss and gather information; to see how we support learning and help to achieve career goals.
Optimum Skills Ltd cover a wide variety of apprenticeships from Butchery to Business Admin, Customer Service to Construction, IT and the list goes on.
