This Easter weekend, locally based dance school KDANZ will be performing at The Royal Albert Hall for the second time! After a tremendous experience performing Avatar in 2014 KDANZ will travel to the capital this year to perform a piece based on the Film saga “Twilight”.
The group of 45 have been working on the routine since Christmas and recently performed ‘Twilight’ at the Gala Theatre in Durham with fantastic feedback.
The school has been so busy recently with performances at the Wildcats Basketball games and Durham Gala as well as competitions in Sunderland.
Principal Kay Harrop, says the opportunities to perform on stages such as Royal Albert Hall don’t come along often.
“I am so proud of all my dancers and cannot wait to share this experience with my husband, our children and the whole KDANZ family.’ said Kay.
Representing KDANZ and the town doesn’t come much better than this. A parent said “The opportunities at KDANZ are limitless and so varied! I saw last year’s performance and had to get my girls involved. KDANZ is such a friendly dance school I already feel part of the family. This will be a memory for our children to last forever.’”
