Bear Grylls says that attending Alpha helped him set off on the greatest adventure of his life and answer the question about the meaning of life. Maybe you have wondered the same: What is life about? Why I am here? Is there really a God? We are excited to be hosting the Alpha Course at the Xcel Centre, Long Tens Way, Aycliffe Business Park, DL5 6AP from 7pm this Monday and you are welcome to join us. Alpha is for everyone, no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome. It is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an informal, fun and friendly environment. The Alpha course consists of a series of talks, looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘How Can I Have a Faith?’ There will always be food and drink available too followed by discussion in small groups.
