The Mayor of Great Aycliffe, Councillor Wendy Hillary, is to host a charity golf tournament to raise funds in aid of her nominated charity, the ‘MRI Scanner Appeal’ at Darlington Memorial Hospital and Bishop Auckland Hospital.
The golf tournament is an 18 hole Stableford Competition to be played at the Oakleaf Golf Complex, School Aycliffe Lane, Newton Aycliffe.
A dinner and presentation evening is also included in the entry fee and this will take place at the Oakleaf Sports Complex Function Room, Newton Aycliffe, with dinner to commence at 7.45pm and a trophy presentation will be made by the Mayor at the conclusion of the dinner.
A team of four players will be required to participate and the entry fee this year is £100. An application form is attached or you can email the team details to me direct. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Maybe you would like to sponsor a hole for the day at a cost of £25. If you require any further information on sponsorship please contact me.
To assist with our fund-raising, a raffle will also take place on the evening and it would be appreciated if you could possibly donate a small prize to be entered.
The closing date for applications is Thursday, 17th August 2017, confirmation and relevant ‘Tee Off’ information will be sent soon after this date.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further details.
