Sedgefield Water Polo Club held their 6th Annual Presentation Evening at The Big Club, Newton Aycliffe on Saturday 2nd March. This was an excellent opportunity for our members to celebrate the successes of 2023 and to raise vital club funds at the same time. Trophies were presented to the following members:

In addition, our 2023 Wakefield & District U14’s team were presented with their medals for winning the league last year, and we had certificates to present to our Level 8’s.
We would also like to thank Sean Alderson for organising the event, in addition to all parents who either donated raffle prizes or bought tickets to help raise money for club funds. Also, a massive thank you to all our coaches and volunteers who kindly give up their time each week in order to allow all our members to enjoy the sport.
In addition to Junior and Senior sessions, Sedgefield Water Polo Club now offers a beginner session at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre on a Saturday afternoon for those wishing to try this fun and exciting sport. We are always looking for new members and offer free trials!
