Sedgefield Racecourse welcomes a variety of Charities to the Remembrance Raceday on Tuesday 11th November. Macmillan, the largest cancer care and support charity in the UK, The injured Jockeys Fund, a charity that supports injured jockeys and their families and The Bob Champion Trust, who are funding a cancer research project.

Racing legends John Francome, Bob Champion & Derek Thompson will be attending the raceday and will be mingling with hospitality guests throughout the day. There is an opportunity to get up close to the infamous jockeys on this day within the hospitality suite situated next to the parade ring.

As this day coincides with Remembrance Day there will be a one minute silence 15 minutes before first race.

Jill Williamson, Executive Director at Sedgefield Racecourse said; “We are honoured to welcome all three Charities to the racecourse and we wish them a successful and profitable day. This will be a perfect opportunity to raise awareness for the Charities and raise much needed funds.”

To join the trio of legends in the hospitality suite, tickets can be purchased for £75 per person which includes a hospitality entrance badge, arrival drink, three course meal, raceday programme and private viewing facilities.

Gates open at 11.00am and include seven races beginning at 12.50pm finishing at 3.50pm. Collectors will be present on the day so please give generously to these fantastic charities. Grandstand & Paddock tickets can be booked in advance for £13 or on the day for £16.
