A number of bands, including that of Black Nevada and Twister, will appear at the ROF 59 Music Festival on Aycliffe Business Park on October 1st in what will be a fun-packed day for all the family, as well as music lovers. The venue, which was initially used the war years as a munitions factory and initially the group of buildings built during the forties has been transformed to its present activity centre. Owner John Finley, whose grandmother Olive, mother Dorothy, and aunts Winnie and Teresa all worked at the munitions factory during the war, brought it into modern day use. The venue will now play host to a near 12 hour extravaganza of music and fun with military vehicles, climbing walls, trampolines, kid’s rides and lots of music. A dozen acts are scheduled to appear throughout the day and night – Fu Fighters, One Eyed Jack, Twister, Black Nevada, Fire Lady Luck, Metis, Craig Roddam Band, The Norgaards, The Last Fakers and The Gas Works. The Music Festival  at ROF59 is on Saturday October 1st from 12 noon until 11pm with tickets priced at £13 adults, £8 children (U15) from the bands and via https://checkout and from ROF59.
