A local youth theatre group are about to embark on a musical production that they have never staged before.
The Tearaways Youth Theatre Group will shortly be beginning rehearsals on their version of Willy Russells Blood Brothers, which will be performed later this year.
A spokesperson said “The group are trying something different with their musical productions this time, and are on the lookout for young budding, actors, dancers, and singers aged 11 to 19 years of age in the area, who would like to be in the production.
You don’t have to have any previous experience, as we will provide training for you. Just lots of enthusiasm, and willing to learn new skills is all we ask. The group will help build your confidence, your creativity and boost your self esteem. Blood Brothers is about twins separated at birth, who meet up later in their teens and become friends, and fall in love with the same girl. Tell Me It’s Not True is the song most people know from the show”.
