On Sunday the 17th of November 64 members of The Macadam School of Dance took part in the annual Tapathon in aid of Children in Need. This is the 3rd year the school has participated and have to date raised a fantastic £970 for the cause. They are now patiently waiting with other participants from around the country to see if they have broken the world record for the amount of people all doing the same tap dance at the same time. The Schools principal Diane said “ we love taking part it means we can raise money for a great cause doing what we love most, dancing & it doesn’t matter if you’ve never danced before it’s for everyone!” Thanks to all who gave their time to be part of it & we’re already looking forward to next year.
