LCA JOB CLUB CAN HELP

Lifeline Community Actions Job Club starts again at the PCP at Cobblers Hall on a Tuesday morning from the 31st January 2017 10am – 12.30pm and one of the aims of the course is to help job seekers tackle those often daunting job applications forms that so many people fear. The LCA Job Coaches have found that so many people have so many skills that they don’t realise they have that are relevant to many of the job vacancies advertised and so they do not include them on an application form. LCA Job Club helps people identify those skills and how to link them to the world of work to create a stronger application.

Job Club coaches have found it amazing just how much experience and skills people actually have without realising it and once aware these job seekers often feel an instant increase in self-esteem and self-belief. The job club also helps participants fill in application forms particularly in relation to what sort of information an employer could be looking for dependant on the role and therefore what information they could include on their form. If you think you could benefit from support like this then please contact Pauline Chambers by email paulinechamberslca@gmail.com or tel 07746 111385.  The 10 week course is free of charge and includes a light lunch and refreshments.
