On Thursday 7th February a new exhibition will open in The Greenfield Gallery. Local artist Lynn Rocks will have her work on display from Thursday 7th February until Wednesday 27th February 2013.

Lynn Maria Rocks lives in Tudhoe, where she has spent her whole life surrounded by the wonderful countryside, moorland, woodlands, rivers and waterways that rural County Durham has to offer. This, along with frequent visits to nearby coastal areas has coloured her art with movement, energy and light.

Taking her inspiration from Mother Nature’s glory, Lynn’s art covers many genres and styles, allowing for a wide audience to find something to their taste and interest. Her exhibition in The Greenfield Gallery will have something for everyone and should not be missed.

Also at the moment we have a fantastic display of textiles and watercolours by Sharron Bates in our Craft Cabinets – the perfect place to get a unique handmade gift and help us support local artists.

The Greenfield Gallery is open Monday to Thursday 10am to 9pm, and Fridays 10am to 4pm, for more information contact us on 01325 379048 or visit our website www.greenfield-arts.co.uk.
