Sparta Security turned twelve years old this week, which has seen the company profile rise dramatically in recent years.
The owner, Francis Jones, says “the company has gone from strength to strength due to the staff we have on the books being covenant holders with the Armed Forces and putting military personnel on business sites.”
Julian McBride, was a tank commander with the Dragoon Guards and is the new General Manager at Sparta. “It is doing things properly with organisation and planning. Francis and I set a goal and we are following this plan effectively using the best officers around, which gives us quality recommendations from our customers”.
“We are also working towards various accreditations which will help lift the company to another tier and using this framework gives Sparta the edge and a great foundation to build on”.
Sparta provides manned guards, static security and now has a TASK FORCE which serves across the North East patrolling both commercial businesses and estates, reacting to CCTV and alarm activations.
The North East based company have an office on Aycliffe Business Park as well as CCTV monitoring in Teesside, Hurworth and Newcastle.
“In order to build you have to trust. My team have to be singing the same tune and we regularly have management meetings which is essential to build the team”.
Sparta’s Stuart Cutty is a Close Protection Officer and manages all the V.I.P.’s coming to the region. Sparta have also branched out into other roles and now provide chauffeur services to A* celebrities and key government officials.”
