Riley Allick, who is nine years old and attends Sugar Hill Primary School, has been presented with an ACE Award by Newton Aycliffe Police. Riley told Mrs Legge, Deputy Head Teacher, that he got such a surprise when he answered the door. Riley was nominated by Alison White, who is the founder and chairperson of Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group. Alison commented, “Riley has never stopped helping our charity, he is there to lend a hand at every event we do. He is such a bright lad. A few weeks ago, I bought him a little present to say thank you for all his help. Riley told me that he doesn’t need presents because he just likes helping! Riley is such a pleasure to be around and always puts a smile on everyone’s faces.”
Riley would like to thank Alison for nominating him for the award. All staff at Sugar Hill are super proud of Riley and the work he does to support the charity and the local community.
