Dear Editor,

PM Cameron replied to my complaint, that his two tier pension scheme will be discriminatory to existing pensioners. He has passed my letter to the Dept. of Works and Pensions. This Dept. replied, saying that the Government’s intention is to simplify the present pension system and the new system was laid out in the last budget. Full Stop!

I therefore wrote to the Commission for Equal Opportunities. They replied saying that despite the existing discriminatory Laws in England, it is lawful to discriminate on age.

So Hoteliers cannot refuse a bed to a pair of ‘gays’ but they can refuse a bed to a Pensioner. Holiday insurance is one of many other examples!

Next I wrote to the Commission for Human Rights. They stated that in order for them to take action it would have to be shown in the English Courts that what the Government was doing is illegal. What chance?

So protest to change the Law would seem to be the only way forward, but is there any group prepared to take up this challenge on behalf of existing Pensioners?

Remember, they will lose out on £151 per month. Can they / you afford to lose this?
