For the friendship and contact you’ve all shown this year,
It has kept our hearts up and dispelled our fear,
Just to know we have a great family and friends,
Has let us know that Covid we can contend,
And that if we all stick together and support each other,
This strange time we can definitely weather,
A vaccine is now here to protect all,
And soon, God willing, we can call,
on each other with a kiss on the cheek,
Something we took for granted but do now hopefully seek,
may 2021 see us regroup,
with family and friends and strengthen our roots.
After World War One the Roaring Twenties came next,
What can we do to shake off the effect,
Of Covid 19 on our great nation?
Let’s too make 2021 a year of amazing celebration.
