Dear Sir,
I feel I must reply to the letter in this week’s Newton News about a mobility challenged 68 year old being fined for overstaying her time in the Aldi car park. I am 70 years old with a life time of disability and have changed my time to shop at Aldi’s because of bad parking in their car park.
Young, fit people are parking in disabled bays and work vans park in mother/toddler bays. People park who are not going into Aldi but using the town centre. This is a car park for shoppers who use Aldi and hopefully the new rules will help.
