With thanks to Cllrs Kate Hopper and Eddy Adams, after having a boiler condemned School Aycliffe Community Centre received a grant of £1200 which was match funded to help install new heating. Chairperson Tony Robinson said that with a regular Mothers and Toddlers group and children’s parties booked we desperately needed new heating, this has now been sorted and we have a nice warm hall again. “A new committee has been formed who are very committed in seeing the hall used regularly. We are gradually filling the days and evenings with regular events and are already taking bookings for 2017” said Tony.
