Have you served your country in any of the Armed Forces, including National Service and have not yet received your Veterans Lapel Badge? Come and join us on Saturday 27th October at 3pm, when Hon Colonel James Ramsbotham will be presenting lapel badges to veterans. For an application form ring Peter Beaty on 313924.
We are looking to start new clubs in September for:
1 – Disabled new age kurling;
2 – Carpet bowls;
3 – Wednesday luncheon club with DVD;
4 – Ladies club with speaker or DVD, tea and biscuits;
5 – Ukulele – would you like your child to learn the easiest to play instrument? We will supply the equipment and will only charge a reasonable fee for a two hour session on a Saturday – date to be confirmed. Incidentally they are also the cheapest instrument to buy and places are limited.
