We’re delighted with the support received by local McColl’s Stores, with Area Manager Michael Johnson pictured here alongside Chair of Trust Professor Paul Keane OBE, donating a cheque to the value of £547.18.
A further £200.00 was donated via the counter collecting tins in Newton Aycliffe stores, with more retail stores committed to support our local NHS Charity for 2019.
Michael said, “It’s very important to us as a national organisation that we do take care of our local charities and the NHS is special to everyone. It’s been an absolute pleasure to help and support through our stores the MRI Scanner Appeal and we hope to continue supporting our local NHS Charity during 2019.”
Paul said, “We are thoroughly delighted with the support that Michael and his staff have given us and look forward to working with McColl’s more closely during 2019, with a number of ideas being discussed for a larger fundraiser for our hospital charity. We rely on the help and support of local businesses to do what they can to help us and McColl’s have demonstrated that working together, you can make a big difference.”
