Dear Sir, I wanted to give you a quick update on where we are – MAD community choir wise, so that you might be able to write a little something about what’s coming up in the near future. On 16th September we are going to be singing at the Salvation Army Hall in Shildon as part of their Harvest Festival and will be performing between 6.00pm and 8.00pm. This is open to members of the public and should prove to be a lot of fun. Our next Fundraising concert will take place on 4th October at Shildon Civic Hall from 7.00pm-10.00pm with music from the 70’s and up to date.
This is focused on raising funds to help people with Mental Health Issues. We are currently open to new members which I can say is growing steadily and currently working on repertoire that will allow us to continue to take new members till the end of October. We will then be joining with Xcel in their annual Christmas Production which is taking place in the Xcel Centre on the 10th December.
