Small businesses can benefit from a free four day ‘Going for Growth’ workshop being held at the Eden Arms Hotel, Rushyford on 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th May. The course is aimed at small business owners who wish to take time out of their business to focus on developing ideas to take the business forward.
The content includes subjects understanding your customers, routes to market, increasing leads and conversions and funding your growth. Upon completion of the programme a National Certificate of Further Education (NCFE) qualification in Enterprising Skills will be awarded.
The course is fully funded for small business owners and/or employees who have not previously attended a Going for Growth course. The Going for Growth programme has operated across the North East receiving excellent feedback from delegates. Places are limited and as this is the first time the programme has been delivered in the South Durham area demand for places is expected to be high.
Business Adviser Jonathan Armitage comments how “this is an ideal opportunity for local businesses to receive professional training and guidance on how best they can take their own individual business to the next level. All too often small businesses owners are unable to find the time to take a step back and reflect on how their business is progressing and what needs to be done to ensure the business doesn’t miss out on opportunities for improvement. This programme allows such focus whilst also providing opportunity for networking with other businesses”.
Starting at 9.30am and finishing at 3pm each day refreshments and lunch are provided.
