Newton News Delivered There This Week
Newton News welcomes to our readership residents of the new Keepmoat housing development on Cobblers Hall Road. This popular housing estate has 60 houses occupied which have been sold as soon as they were finished.
A total of 175 houses will complete the development and at this rate should be fully occupied in around 18 months time.
It also proves that Newton Aycliffe itself is an attractive place to live and apart from poor retail provision we can take pride in our town.
We still hope that eventually our town centre will live up to expectations, but fear this will only happen when the Landlords realise rent and service charges are too high to attract new shopkeepers.
