Aycliffe based business Inside the Box, is returning to Croft Christmas Trees from the 19th November to the 19th December for a second year running serving festive drinks and treats with the help of local businesses.
The Christmas Tree Centre, located south of Darlington, prides itself on a truly magical Christmas experience including over 4000 trees available for purchase, a unique Christmas shop and, as of last year, the addition of Inside the Box.
“Nothing is better than a Hot Chocolate while searching for a Christmas Tree,” said Adam, owner of Inside the Box.
Croft Christmas Trees sees more than 16k people through its doors over the festive period and Adam, owner of ITB, is expecting big things from this year. It’s great to be part of it again. Despite the restrictions of last Christmas, we surpassed all of our targets and we really want to grow the service offering this year to bring a real quality product to the customer”.
Adam and his wife Sharna believe in the value of local suppliers and the importance of supporting businesses on their doorstep. Last year they used Don Walker’s, local butchers and bakers, for the supply of their confectionery items and will continue to do so this year without hesitation. They are currently talking to milk suppliers within the area about their milk requirements for this year. The coffee they use is roasted within 12 miles of the site and, as part of their brand responsibility, nothing goes to waste. This year they will be donating any surplus items to The Ration Pack Cafe at the IES Centre to help Dave and the team with their big plans.
“Croft really is the big event for us of the year and this Christmas is going to be even bigger and better. We have introduced seating areas and new food lines, underpinned by local businesses, we have a team of amazing friends, family and staff who work with us and we can’t wait to start selling our infamous Gingerbread Latte’s again!”
You can see Adam, Sharna and the team at Croft Christmas Tress from the 19th of November, but be sure to book your slot on the Croft website as it does get busy.
