Children’s Down Syndrome Project receives coach trip bonanza.
Together 21 played host to the staff of Hays Travel, Newton Aycliffe today as they presented a double decker of a cheque for £427.99, proceeds from a fundraising coach trip to York, an initiative promoted by Hays Travel’s local branches to give back to the local communities they serve. Together 21, a parent led project based at the Pioneering Care Partnership, Newton Aycliffe, offers Education, Fun and Friendship to children with Down syndrome and their families. It provides access to a comprehensive programme of tailored learning, covering;
• Communication / Makaton Signing
• Speech & Language,
• Numeracy
• Fine & Gross Motor Skills
• Behaviour & Social skills
For children from 0 – 18 years old and their families, helping them acquire the essential skills that will equip them to meet the future with confidence.
