Greenfield College Football Leaders have volunteered many hours of their time this year to referee and coach a range of primary school leagues and tournaments.  A large number of events and opportunities have been organised by Sedgefield Schools Sports Partnership and Martin Gray Football Academy, supported by NAYFC and GAMP.
A number of the school’s leaders have gained their Junior Football leaders’ awards, and all have gained valuable experience and life skills.  Many are developing into confident coaches and referees, thanks to the hard work and support of Sedgefield’s School Sport Partnership, MGFA & NAYCFC.
Throughout the season Newton Aycliffe Youth Club and MGFA have been working in our local schools.  The impact of this was visible during the recent girls football league held at the site.  It was great to see so many girls enjoying representing their school and the standard of football was impressive. Well done to Sugar Hill who took first place.
